I built Sequoia Quality Solutions after 43 years working inside pest control and high-compliance environments. Seventeen countries. Manufacturing floors, field operations, and executive leadership at some of the largest pest control companies in the world. Including a stretch managing global quality for Terminix after they acquired us.
I kept seeing the same pattern over and over. Companies grew, but their investment in their team didn’t. Career paths were unclear, and the techs/teams of pest control pros were left to figure things out on their own. That brought on high turnover. Then, uneven service quality… which led to compliance risk that no one caught until until the auditors walked in.
I started Sequoia to fix all that. Not with off-the-shelf frameworks or generic training decks. But with field-tested systems built specifically for how pest control companies (PCOs) actually operate.
This industry has been incredible to me. It brought me from the West Indies to South Africa to California to Colorado. It rallied around my family when we needed it most. And because of that, I do not take that lightly. When I show up to your operation, I show up with everything I have. It’s odd to say, but I truly love the bug world.
When I am not in someone’s operation, you will find me knee-deep in a Colorado river chasing trout, at home with my wife of 33 years and a daughter who doubles as my best buddy, and a very opinionated cat who crashes every Zoom call. I own more colorful shirts than any one probably should. Life is too short for beige.

If your operation has a problem, I am going to tell you what it is. Not to be harsh — because you cannot fix what nobody will name. I have walked into operations running millions in revenue and found things people knew but would not say out loud. That is where the real work starts.
I started in pest control at 12 working alongside my father, trained by the world’s leading pest professionals. 43 years and 17 countries later, everything I do is aimed at raising the standard of how this industry operates.
My goal is always the same: I want to leave your operation tighter and your team growing so that you do not need me on speed dial. I am not interested in making myself indispensable. I am interested in making your pest control ops run (and grow) without either of us fighting fires all day.
